MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE REPORT

Submitted by Fred Eyrich

Over the last few months there have been several projects completed: Jack Carpenter finished painting and repairing all the street name signs and the stop signs. I washed down and painted all the sign polls and re- installed the signs. All of the street name signs now have aluminum brackets. These brackets had to be custom made by me.

As people take down their Christmas decorations if you used an outlet in your lamp post under the light bulb remove the outlet because they are not designed for outdoor use. It is also suggested that you clean the lamp post.

In the coming year there are projects that need to be worked on. We need able bodied people to join the maintenance committee. Many of the people that we had on the committee have either moved or have physical and health issues that curtail them from helping. Please see me after the meeting if you want to help.

LAKES AND ROADS COMMITTEE REPORT

There was a sink hole repaired by Greenscape along Lake A.

The weed control program along our roads is an ongoing program. We could use some additional people to help spray these weeds that grow between the road and the curb.

POOL COMMITTEE REPORT

The heaters have been repaired. The pool water is nice and warm.

Plants in the pool area need to be watered at least once a week.

The pool water needs to be tested once a day. Howard Pool Service does it Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We need someone to do it Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. I replaced the clock. The old one was blown down when we had the strong winds in December and it broke. The new clock is an Atomic Clock and the only maintenance it will need is a new battery once a year. I attached it securely and it should not blow down. According to the contract that we have with the developer it is his responsibility to make repairs to the building at the pool. The soffits outside the Tiki Bar are his responsibility. They were blown down in strong winds in December.

When you have visitors that use our pool please supervise your grandchildren.
