ELECTION COMMITTEE ANNUAL REPORT

MARCH 8, 2010

The Election Committee is a very large committee of loyal and trust worthy members. Each year, we begin to prepare 3 months before the election. Several have been on this committee since the POA was formed.

Galen Price is our new Co-Chairman, and many thanks to Dave Doupe who held this position previously.

In January, we try to seek interested residents for board candidates. Many questions by the candidates are answered at this time.

In February, there is a Candidates Forum for the residents to become an informed voter.

In March, the annual meeting and election is held. The election begins with all the voters registering before the meeting and ends with everyone on our committee counting the votes. We have a speedy and unique process; and the result of the total vote is not accomplished by most POAs’ at the annual meeting.
