WELCOMING COMMITTEE REPORT – MAY

The Welcoming Committee held a Tea for new residents and also for residents that have not been contacted and would like a visit. The new residents have moved into Seminole Lakes since September 1, 2005. The tea was held on April 30^th at Joe & Pat Gartner’s home.

We mailed sixteen invitations and five new residents attended the tea. We also had some of the Board and Committee members in attendance. Several people responded to the invitation but were leaving for the north during the last week of April. These residents will be visited in the fall.

One visit was made on April 26^th and in the next couple of weeks, we will be making additional visit to new residents and providing them with the new resident packets.

Also, I would like to thank Joe & Pat Gartner for opening them lovely home for the Tea.
