The Welcome Committee has been more active with the number of homes being sold in Seminole Lakes.

As when the houses are sold not necessarily are the new owners living in Seminole Lakes.  A number of the new residents are part-time and generally head south over the winter.  The Committee has to check here plus other phone numbers trying to make contact.

This past year of 2008 we had seventeen homes sold, We hope to contact all the new residents soon. 

The Committee planned a Wine and Cheese Party for all 2008 new residents in November.  We found very few either not interested or not available as not coming south till after the holidays.  We are hoping to try in late January.  We are planning to make  this a annual event every January or February.

In early fall the Committee thought it would be a nice gesture to give a gift to all new residents a coffee mug with a small bag of candy.  The mug is cobalt blue with the Seminole Lakes logo in white,

We have a number of members on our Committee an they are anxious to welcome people to Seminole Lakes with lots of great ideas and enthusiasm.
