POOL ACTIVITIES CENTER COMMITTEE

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position description supersedes the previous Seminole Lakes Pool Committee Charter.

The Committee reports to the Director Overseer who serves as the liaison between the committee and the Board.

COMMITTEE FUNCTIONS:

Maintains the rules and regulations previously developed and update as necessary.

Monitors the pool cleaning and facilities cleaning contracts currently issued to Howards Pool and Levy Cleaning.

Tests the pool water in accordance with the County Health Dept. requirements, and records the results in the log. This function is done on the days that Howard’s Pool does not do the testing.

Maintains the monthly calendar and enters Activity Center functions.

Monitors the performance of the pool, and exercise equipment.

(The Tiki Hut is under the Activities Committee)

Reports all equipment problems to the Committee Chairperson.

Assists in securing competitive bids for repairs or replacement for equipment.

Monitors the cost of operations in conjunction with the Director Overseer and assists in preparing yearly budgets.

Monitors any undesirable activity and take steps to eliminate them.
