OPEN HOUSE SIGN RECOMMENDATION

ONE (1) sign may be placed at the front of Seminole Lakes Country Club entrance off of Rt. 41 which states (OPEN HOUSE). The realtor may provide to the Guard House, maps of Seminole Lakes with the open house so marked to be given to any visitor requesting entry for the purpose of visiting the open house. 1 sign showing the open house may be placed on the front lawn. No other items may be displayed. Any and all material used for an open house shall be picked up at the end of the day.

Our current guideline in our Covenants is as follows

SECTION 5 – No sign of any kind, including, without limitation real estate signs, shall be displayed for public view on a parcel or the common elements, without the prior written consent of the Association. This provision shall not be applicable to Declarant who may maintain signs for promotional purposes, including real estate signs

Our Rules and Regulations state the following:

26. SIGNS: No signs shall be erected or displayed on your property. However, the POA may allow a sign to be erected at their discretion. "For Sale" signs or "For Rent" signs may be displayed, one sign per property, no larger than six inches by eight inches in size.

The committee has sought input from local realtors and we suggest that the POA board pass the following Rule and Regulation for OPEN HOUSE.

This Policy should be communicated to the Punta Gorda Realtor Association and to those Real Estate firms that have done business in the past.

In addition, the board might want to consider informing other business which place signs on residents yards (ie. Spraying etc,) that all yard signs need to be 6x8 in size.
