LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Landscape Committee:
- Serves as liaison to Greenscapes and monitors performance with the
assistance of the director overseer. Ensures common areas are maintained per
contract specifications.
- Coordinates drive-thru with Greenscapes and the covenants committee to
inspect residential lawns requiring repair. If the repair is the
responsibility of Greenscapes, they will do the repair.
If the repair is the resident’s responsibility, the
Covenants committee will take steps to notify the resident.
- Solicits outside contractor bids as required for landscape projects on
common ground, submits bids with recommendations to POA Board, and serves as
liaison with selected contractors. Oversees getting bids to trim trees on
common area trees where the branches overhang the streets.
- Performs planting of flowers and smaller plants on common ground
- Assists residents in understanding and complying with local and state
guidelines for landscaping
- Provides an approval process to residents for landscape improvement on
their property.
