LAKES & ROADS COMMITTEE REPORT-JUNE

The Lakes & Roads committee completed the following projects.

EarthBalance planted 1800 plants on the common ground on Lake D. These were

planted to assist in erosion control plus to enhance the looks of the shoreline. Three residents on Lake D have agreed to assist in weed control until the plants are established.

Greenscapes cleaned out the culvert leading from Lake D under Burnt Store Road. This was necessary to prevent water backing up in Lake D.

The City and County are reviewing who owns the ditch on the west side of Burnt Store Road and we have requested this ditch be cleaned.

Both of these projects were approved at the May board meeting.

Joe Ring and another committee member replaced the sprinkler pump and motor used to water the common area on Acline Road. The original motor blew out and was beyond

repairs.
