Our Election will be held at the Annual Meeting, Monday, March 9, 2009 @ 10 AM.

Our Board Members serve for 2 years. This March, the 2 Board Members’ terms that will be completed are Bob Toth & Jay Ward. The 3 remaining Board Members that will serve for one more year are Nick Cole, Linda Huber and Joe Ring. We need candidates to replace the seats of these 2 Board Members.

Our Campaign Committee will be busy in January finding candidates for these positions. Please make it easy for them. If you are eager and willing to serve, please contact Dave Doupe, Chairman, or his committee members (Joe Meidt, Bud Nelson, Galen Price, Rich Scott & Dick Swett). It is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to serve. Please seriously consider this important position.

The First Notice of the Election with the Letter of Intent for Candidates was mailed out January 9^th . If you do not receive it in a few days, contact Star Management.

The Candidates Forum will be Monday, Feb. 9^th @ 9 AM – l hour before the Board Meeting. Last year many more residents attended at this time than holding it on a different date. We hope there will be many candidates. Also, there will be one question allowed at a time. Please do not use 2 questions in a compound sentence! Please plan on staying for both meetings as a courtesy to everyone. Everyone involved works hard to have these meetings for you. We hope your New Years Resolution is to attend and stay until the end of all regular Board meetings.

Your help as a Candidate is needed so we may continue to have an outstanding Board in this great community we live in.
