Just a reminder that September is one of the most active months of the hurricane season. We should remain alert.

In the event of a declared disaster emergency, a member of the CERT will be checking those residents in accordance with our priority system.

If for any reason you are considering evacuating, please notify the Security Guard, as this will permit the CERT a quicker response when checking those residents who are remaining.

September’s SML CERT monthly meeting was devoted to light search and rescue. We were fortunate to have 2 members of the POA Board as guests.

The SML CERT is accepting applications to expand its membership to ensure adequate coverage during the hurricane season. If interested, please contact me so that I can schedule your training.
