Burnt Store Road Expansion Project

Phase#1 Project:
Work will begin from Acline Road south towards Notre Dame Road.
That work is scheduled to start June 01, 2010.
No work can start north of Acline Road until some issues are resolved.
One issue involves River Haven, as the County has to relocate a water and sewer line which presently sits on where the road will be expanded. The other issue involves the railroad lines located at the intersection of Burnt Store Road and Highway 41.
The schedule for work north of Acline Road towards Highway 41 is not set. That includes replacing the bridge over Alligator Creek. At that time, Burnt Store Road will be closed from Acline Road to Highway 41. Traffic coming north will be detoured onto Acline Road. A temporary stop light will be installed at Acline Road and Highway 41. The contract specifications will state that no work can start north of Acline Road until the temporary traffic light is installed. This part of the project will last 6 months.
The Phase #1 Project is scheduled to be completed no later than December 31, 2011.
