ACCESS CONTROL REPORT – NOV. 9, 2009
The POA Board approved a new access control system at the October board meeting and since that time, the committee has been busy working on all the details.
All of the equipment has been ordered, by that I mean
A new bar code reader for front gate
New bar codes for automobiles
A surveillance camera system
New visitor and vendor passes
Both temporary and permanent signs for closing back entrance gate
We are planning a December 15th closing of the back entrance gate. A letter from Star Management will be sent to all residents thirty days prior to the closing and also outlining complete information of dates, times, and place where the committee will be installing new bar codes for residents.
Lastly, we are waiting for an installation date of the camera equipment which will finalize the improvements to our Access Control system.
